摘要

This paper adopts a person-centred approach and seeks to develop a typology of students’ reading engagement through secondary analysis of internationally-sampled survey data. It aims to provide teaching guidance in helping students advance in reading performance. It argues that response to reading intervention can facilitate junior secondary students in enhancing their reading literacy performance.
